How long does a spray tan last?
Seven to twelve days. How long yours holds comes down to prep before the appointment and aftercare afterward, and dry skin is the main thing that shortens it. Clients keeping continuous color book every ten to fourteen days.
Will a spray tan make me look orange?
No. Our formulas are built to develop true rather than warm, and your depth is chosen for your skin instead of guessed at. Prep and aftercare handle the rest, and you'll get walked through both.
How long does a spray tan appointment take?
Fifteen minutes, walking in to walking out. That includes a short consultation, blending your formula, and application. The Event expect 30 minutes.
What should I wear to a spray tan appointment?
Something loose and dark. Avoid tight waistbands, bra straps, and anything white you'd be upset about. Most people wear a robe or a loose dress and bring flip flops. What you wear during the appointment is entirely up to your comfort.
How do I prepare for a spray tan?
Scrubbing with a loofah is not enough. We recommend using exfoliating mitts/gloves shoulders to feet. Exfoliate the day before, not the day of. Shave or wax twenty four hours ahead. Arrive with clean skin, no lotion, deodorant, perfume, or makeup, and leave jewelry at home. Prep is the single biggest factor in how even and long lasting the result is.
Will a spray tan look natural on fair skin?
Yes. Fair skin doesn't need a weaker version of someone else's tan, it needs a different blend, which is why every formula gets mixed per client. Depth is chosen for your skin rather than applied by default, so the result reads as color you could have.
Do you offer mobile spray tans in Friendswood?

Is airbrush tanning the same as spray tanning?
Yes. Airbrush tanning refers to color applied by hand with an airbrush rather than by an automated booth. Everything at Honey Hue Tans is applied by hand, which is what allows the formula to be adjusted per person and per area of the body.
When can I shower after a spray tan?
Your rinse time depends on the formula that was mixed for you, and you'll leave with a specific window. Most fall between two and eight hours. Rinse in lukewarm water with no soap on the first pass, then pat dry.
Can I work out or swim after a spray tan?
Wait until after your first rinse. Once the color has developed and been rinsed, sweat won't lift it and swimming is fine. Chlorine and salt water will fade it somewhat faster, so rinse and moisturize afterward.
Can you spray sensitive skin?
Yes, regularly. Sainte Cacao formulas were developed with sensitive skin in mind. Reactions are very rare, though not impossible, so mention anything worth knowing when you book and the formula gets adjusted.
Does a spray tan look natural on mature skin?
Yes, and it's a large share of who we spray. Skin texture changes over time and the formula gets adjusted for that, so the result reads as radiance rather than something sitting on top of the skin. Hydration in the formula matters more here than depth.
